Seal-Guard™ SG-N01
Seal-Guard™ SG-N01 Neutral-Cure Silicone Sealant is a one-component silicone sealant with excellent adhesion and weatherseal properties, easy to use on most indoor and outdoor applications. It cures to a tack-free state shortly at room temperature and works perfectly on materials including glass, aluminum, steel, painted metal, EIFS, granite and other stone, concrete, brick and plastics.
Single-Component, Neutral-Cure Silicone Adhesive Sealant
- One-part, neutral cure, 100% silicone rubber adhesive sealant that quickly cures at room temperature.
- Exceptional resistance to weathering, sunlight, UV, rain, snow, ozone or extreme temperature.
- Permanently flexible at -30°C to +140°C (-22°F to 284°F).
- Exceptional life-expectancy of more than 20 years.

How to Use:
Surface Preparation
Ensure that all surfaces are clean, dry, sound, and free from frost. Clean all joints of release agents, water repellents, laitance, dust, dirt, old sealants, and other contaminants which could impair adhesion. Surfaces should be cleaned and degreased by wiping with a suitable solvent on an oil and lint-free cloth before application of sealant.
Note: When using any solvent, always provide adequate ventilation. Avoid heat, sparks, and open flames. Use solvent-resistant gloves.
Applications
- Suitable for most new construction and remedial sealing applications both indoors and outdoors.
- Weather sealing of most common construction materials including glass, aluminum, steel, painted metal, EIFS, granite and other stone, concrete, brick, and plastics.

Limitations
Seal-Guard™ SG-N01 Neutral Cure Silicone Sealant is not recommended for use in:
- Continuous water immersion.
- Underground or structural curtain-wall joints where excessive abrasion and physical abuse may be present.
- Building materials that bleed oil or plasticizers.
- Closed areas that are sealed off from atmospheric moisture (which will affect curing).
Note: It is recommended to finish using the entire tube in a single application to avoid air exposure and potential degradation of the sealant.
Usable Life and Storage
Seal-Guard™ SG-N01 Neutral Cure Silicone Sealant should be stored in cool and dry conditions. When stored at or below 30°C (86°F) in the original unopened containers, Seal-Guard™ Neutral Cure Silicone Sealant has a usable life of 12 months from the date of production.
